San Francisco Hotel Monumento is Awarded an Excellent by the Bookings Website Booking

The average mark on 800 comments is a 9.2, making this Compostela’s Hotel one of the best valued in Spain.

San Francisco Hotel Monumento has obtained its best mark at Booking, the main online booking central. A 9.2 over 10 on nearly 800 comments of clients who have made their reservation and have answered a test sent by Booking after their stay.

This makes the San Francisco Hotel Monumento one of the best valued hotels in Spain, which ranks third among those with more than 400 comments, after the Hotel Montecarlo in Barcelona and Casa 1800 in Seville. Among all those hotels passing the 9 in Spain, San Francisco is the second with more comments behind only the hotel Monjas del Carmen in Granada with nearly 1.200 comments.

The three best valued aspects are: the location, 9.8, the cleaning, 9.4, and the staff,9.3. Most of the clients who have answered the test are older couples (347) followed by young couples (153), friends groups (110) and people travelling alone (105).

Clients have mainly highlighted: the location, the staff’s kindness and professionalism, the rehabilitation of the convent, the comfort, the utilities, the quality, the peace, the absence of noise and the charming, in addition to the environment of the hotel. The Hotel managers are proud of the evaluation of the staff by the clients, the best prize for an excellent human team which is the key of these results. 

Some weeks ago, the users of another website, Trivago, declared it to be the fifth best hotel for weddings in Spain. The excellent punctuation obtained now in Booking, confirms the great work of the team who works in this hotel only meters away from the Cathedral. The Franciscan convent, declared of Cultural Interest by the UNESCO, will celebrate its 800 anniversary in 2014.
